From Sansone to Porta degli Angeli, there are many sculptures created by the wind.
Not only that, but the wind and sea constantly reshape and change the size, structure, and design of Sansone and Sorgente beaches.
The Sansone and Sorgente beaches, which can be reached just outside the campsite, are among the most beautiful on the north coast and complete the last stretch of coastline to Capo Enfola, passing by Porta degli Angeli: a natural rock formation about 30 meters high, which, together with other shaped rocks, looks like a real “sculpture created by the wind.”
From Portoferraio to Capo Enfola, there are other white beaches, known for their pure white, almost marble-like pebbles, which make the purity of the water even more visible with its typical color ranging from green to turquoise.
But that’s not all! The wind and sea also reshape the beaches, changing their size and structure. The new “design” often leaves visitors amazed by the unexpected changes, which affect the entire white coastline, but especially those adjacent to the campsite: the wonderful Sansone and Sorgente beaches.
