🚌 Line 6: The Shuttle Bus to Portoferraio (from Enfola/Viticcio Junction)
If you want to reach the historic center of Portoferraio, the port, or nearby beaches without the stress of parking, Line 6 of the urban bus service (operated by Autolinee Toscane) is the best solution.
The bus passes right by the Enfola / Viticcio junction (just a few minutes’ walk from the campsite) and takes you directly to the Portoferraio terminus (Calata Italia, ferry port area), which is also the departure point for all other connections around the island.

- Boarding stop: Bivio Enfola / Viticcio (Junction).
- Arrival stop: Portoferraio Capolinea (Port).
- Travel time: About 10-15 minutes.
- Ideal for: Reaching the ferries, shopping in Portoferraio, visiting the Medicean fortresses, or dining out in the evening without moving your car or camper.
💡 A tip for tickets: Buy your tickets before boarding (via the official at-bus app or at tobacco shops in Portoferraio) to benefit from the standard fare and avoid the surcharge for tickets purchased directly from the driver.
