For trekking enthusiasts: from the campsite, you can reach the Enfola promontory and walk around the cape of the same name in about two hours. It is an easy route, suitable for children, except for the last stretch of the trail that leads to the cape, where you cross breathtaking cliffs with reflections of the blue-green sea that are unmatched by other panoramic views. It is also interesting to learn about the history of the fortifications at Capo Enfola. If you visit in May/June, you will encounter broods of seagulls nesting among the rocks along the trail, defending their chicks by spreading their wings and uttering loud cries (they are not dangerous).
Another, more challenging hike is trail 48, which starts near the campsite and reaches the village of Marina di Campo in six hours, covering a distance of 12 km. It practically crosses the island from north to south. You are guaranteed to encounter various wildlife such as wild boars, hares, partridges, and pheasants, as well as a wide variety of flora with fragrant essences typical of the scrubland, and finally numerous panoramic views to photograph.
The first part of the same route can be done by mountain bike, starting from the campsite and ending in Biodola.
Another interesting route to do on foot or by bike is the one that starts from the houses on the right immediately after the junction for Acquaviva. In less than an hour, you will reach the upper part, where two numbered trails branch off: continuing straight ahead, you will reach the upper part of the area called Il capannone, from where you can admire the Gulf of Biodola from above. Alternatively, take the trail on the right, which rejoins the Viticcio-Forno trail.
